    Lead and manage UX product design efforts for all FFN brands – Freedom Debt Relief, FreedomPlus, and

    Managed email products, event and nomination system, and external vertical sites. Role included: leading kick-off meetings, working with stakeholders to establish goals and gather requirements to build successful products.

    Email: Managed daily, weekly and industry emails with goal of optimizing opens and click-throughs, while creating advertising inventory.

    • Successfully redesigned the DailyUpdate email that is sent to over half a million people daily.
    • Created an automated process to keep email distribution lists free of bad email addresses.

    Events and Nominations:

    • Led the creation of an events and nominations system that is used by 40 business journal markets to build and manage events, event attendee registrations, and consumer facing event pages.
    • Designed jquery based form builder for business journal markets to build custom nomination forms for events and special publications.

    Vertical sites: Lead redesign of site; gathering features, creating wireframes, writing technical requirements and managed production of site. Managed site working with Puget Sound Business Journal team to make improvements and fix bugs. Worked closely with Seattle Publisher on beginnings of version 2.0.

    Managed team of interactive designers and front-end developers — leading creative efforts for, TechFlash,, including redesign and build out of new site. Lead all user experience efforts from sketches to development ready html assets; including: site design, landing pages, mobile sites, mobile apps, micro sites, event micro sites, and email products. Worked closely with product managers, executives and development team to build great user experiences that met business objectives. Managed design queues of direct reports, hiring for new positions and represented User Experience Design group in all management meetings. Mentored junior designers and encouraged development of new skills. Utilized analytics data to optimize user page views and advertising click-through rates.

    Led creative efforts for brand. Responsible for creating user experience and establishing look & feel for online real estate listing site. Worked closely with executives, marketing managers, and product managers to develop effective home listings, homepages, landing pages, online forms, and email marketing.

    Design corporate website, updating main pages and interior pages monthly. Created pages for new products and events. Design monthly consumer emails introducing new products and campaigns. Designed event logo for packaging department. Contributed to design of Aveda 2006 Magalog. All work done with detail and accuracy, and maintaining brand style guidelines.
